Emmy Mulindwa: woman, painter, potter, mother, inhabitant of the planet earth

I am a young woman currently living in Western New York with my husband, Joel, and children.

 

In May 2021, I graduated from Houghton College with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. I concentrate in oil painting and ceramics, though I find myself getting distracted constantly with sculpture, and pastel.

While the bulk of my oil paintings are abstract or non-representational, I also enjoy capturing faces, forms, and colors through portrait, still life, and landscape work.

My ceramic work varies from underglaze carving to sculptural work.
